Main Event & Co-Main Event Pre-view

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson will be desperately looking for a win when he shares the cage with Peter Queally at Bellator 285 on Friday Night. The 38 Year old is 2-3 in his last five fights with an overall 6-6 under the Bellator Banner. His last win was back at Bellator 273, A split decision win over Islam Mamedov.

Queally will grace his hometown with hopes of making them proud by jumping back to the win column. Queally has had a rough patch in his Bellator career, which has been bumpy with no consecutive wins. He most recently lost a Patricky Pitbull and will be facing a big task against Henderson, who has a good ground game and a better striking ability than Queally.

Also on the card is a Light Heavyweight battle between veteran contender Melvin Manhoef  and former UFC middleweight title challenger  Yoel Romero. Melvin Manhoef has been around for three decades and has done so much for the sports, accomplishing so much more than Romero has and might possibly achieve in the sport.

Manhoef is 46 years and Romero is 45 but the “Man Of God” still has more athletic ability than his older rival and is easily regarded as a mismatch on paper. The Bookmarkers see it (-800) in favor of the Romero and with that score, Fans will expect a one-sided beatdown.
