Frank Sanchez KOs Carlos Negron In Ninth Round – Wilder Vs Helenius Results
Frank Sanchez is steadily climbing the Heavyweight ranks and this time delivered a knockout, stopped Carlos Negron in the ninth round of their scheduled 10 rounder on Wilder Vs Helenius Fight Card on Saturday Night at the Barclays Center.
Sanchez, who won his last two fights on points, seemed to be heading to another when one huge right hand from the Cuban changed the direction of the fight. Sanchez dropped Negron with that punch then went on to finish him with a flurry as the referee stepped in to stop Negron from further damage.
With the win, Sanchez remains unbeaten with record (21-0, 14 KOs) and became the fourth fighter to stop Negron (25-4, 20 KOs) within the distance. The fight got stopped at exactly 1:36 of the ninth round. Before his loss to Sanchez, Dominic Breazeale first stopped him in the ninth round and Brian Howard in the first round before Epifanio Mendoza stopped him in the third.

The 30 year Old Sanchez has won his last three fights impressively and will be in search of a bigger name as he looks to descend down the heavyweight rankings. His last two bouts ended a 10 round Unanimous Decision over Nigerian KO artist Efe Ajagba and Christian Hammer.
