The third round was a little different as Foster III had some early success but De Los Santos came back stronger, landing a straight left and a right hook towards the ending seconds of the third round. A point was deducted from De Los Santos in the fourth, as he intentionally caused a clash of heads that had him cut over his eaylid.
Foster then used a box and move strategy in the fifth, De Los Santos began holding and fought off the back foot when he wasn’t. De Los Santos stage another big round in the sixth connecting a big right that made Fister hold him towards the midway point. Foster was however able to connect a big right of his own 20 seconds remaining in the round.
De Los Santos was caught with a big right, whole coming forward in the seventh round and had his head snapped backwards 2ith another Jab, so seconds remaining in the round.
Foster was most in control of the fight by the final round and left De Los Santos initiating clinches, though he 2as able to connect a left combination. Foster mostly had his Jab up through out the final round.
