Tottenham Hotspur have sacked Nuno Espirito Santo following the 3 Nil the defeat to Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 29th of October.
The Portuguese has only lasted Four Months and has only been in-charge of 17 games since taking charge of the club during the summer. Nuno started the season well with a 1 – 0 victory over Manchester City but things has so far changed for the North London club.
Their latest defeat to Manchester United was their fifth Premier League defeat in their last EPL outings and due to these awful results, the fans clearly booed the 47 year old and the Charman Daniel Levy decided it was time for the club to let go of their third Manager within the last two years.
The Club published a statement on their official website delivering the information. Managing Director Of Football Fabio Paraticio
“I know how much Nuno and his coaching Staff wanted to succeed and I regret that we have to make this decision.
Nuno is a true gentleman and will always be welcome here. We should like to Thank Him and his coaching staff and wish them well in the Future.”
The former Boss Mauricio Pochettino and former Chelsea Manager Anthonio Conte have been the big names in Levy’s list and could ones again top the list as the London side look to replace Nuno with a more dynamic manager.
