The Middleweight fight between Kevin Holland vs. Kyle Daukaus ended a no contest after an accidental clash of heads in the first round. The fight served as the Co ?main event of UFC Fight Night 193 (UFC Vegas 38) which took place on Saturday night at the UFC Apex Facility in Las Vegas Nevada.

Holland was the unfortunate one of the two fighters as he got badly rocked by the two and eventually submitted by Daukaus. However, the officials in charge reviewed the bout and called it a no contest.
The fights started out very competitive as both fighters kept connecting good shots and Holland was showing a good takedown offence from Daukaus. Halfway through the fight, both fighters went in for a takedown and Daukaus head landed on Holland’s chic.
That rocked him badly and opened him up for Daukaus to jump in for a ground and pound, following up with a series of submission attempts that ended up earning him the tap. The referee watched the illegal shot but was hesitant and eventually allowed the fight to continue, Daukaus ended the fight with a Rare Naked Choke.
The commission officials had to gather after the awful ending to review the fight ending sequence and deeming it an accidental head clash and ruled it a no contest.
Holland entered the fight on the back of two defeats. However, the two defeats snapped his five fight unbeaten run. However the case, he remains winless in three games and will have to wait longer. Daukaus also came into the fight on the back of a decision loss to Phil Davis in may.
