Vitali Happy Clever Oleksandr Usyk, Avenged Klitschko’s Loss To Joshua

Oleksandr Usyk Defeats Anthony Joshua Becomes New Unified World Champion

Vitali Klitschko was present ringside to witness the Oleksandr Usyk’s triumphant display against Anthony Joshua, which saw him cart away with the IBF, IBO, WBA WBO Heavyweight titles on Saturday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Hall Of Famer and former three time World heavyweight titlist was no doubt impressed with the Usyk for pulling off a boxing masterclass on Joshua, who was regarded as one of the best in the division , winning on scorecards 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113.

Usyk became the third Heavyweight from Ukraine to win a world title and Klitschko had some nice words for the new unified World Champion.

“It was an excellent fight. Very clever [performance],” the elder Klitschko stated in an on-air post-fight interview following the Sky Sports Box Office main event. “I’m very happy. Oleksandr did a perfect job.”

Usyk entered the fight with physical disadvantages and having only fought twice at heavyweight with unimpressive performances, there were question marks on if he would be able to perform against a huge heavyweight like Joshua, who had made a name for himself fighting contenders in Europe.

Vitali witnessed Anthony Joshua’s Knockout victory over Wladimir his brother back in 2017 and had one point said he could come out from retirement to avenge that loss but at the moment Usyk has done it for him and according to him “Everyone Is Happy”

“Everybody is happy,” Klitschko stated on behalf of his nation. “[Usyk is] second [in Ukraine] after Wladimir Klitschko to [become unified heavyweight champion].”
