Manchester United Fans will pack up Old Trafford with expectations to welcome their returning legend Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club and Newcastle United could be the first to witness the return of the Global Football legend.

The Toons recorded another loss in their visit to Villa Park. The Toons found themselves unfortunate again in the 28th as the Saints came from behind to pick a point.

The Red Devils and Newcastle have one common opponent, Southampton and judging from how the two teams faired against the Saints. It is evident that Newcastle could end up a torn in United’s flesh as they were able to score two goals against Southampton but the Old Trafford giants had to struggle and were lucky to get a point in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Newcastle were rather unlucky as their lead got cancelled out by J. Ward-Prowse penalty in the final minute of the game.

Manchester United have emerged victorious against Newcastle in six out if their last eight meetings with the remaining two games being a 1 Nil victory over the Red Devils. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now has a lot of options ahead of the game with Ronaldo coming into the picture.

However options in the midfield will reduce as Fred, who is part of the Brazilian team banned by FIFA will not be in line to play against Newcastle.
