Former two time Undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield will return to the Boxing Ring against Former UFC Champion Victor Belfort in a Triller fight Club Pay-Per-View event on Saturday night.
Holyfield, who cemented himself as threat in four weight class, winning titles in all of them retired back in 2011 after winning his last fight and now the 58 year old raised eyebrows with his physic and training before stepping in as a short replacement opponent after Oscar De La Hoya pulled out after testing positive to COVID 19.
Victor Belfort is a former UFC Middleweight champion who will be making his Boxing Debut. Despite having a very huge experience in combat Sports. Belfort has had a little experience using his hands as MMA also makes use of some form of posing which they mostly refer to as striking.
Belfort will need to adjust his training quickly as He was initially to face Oscar De La Hoya, who is physically smaller in height and reach. De La Hoya competed at the lower weight classes during his competitive days with his heaviest weight class viewing the Junior Middleweight class of 154 pounds.
Belfort would have had the weight advantage as he fought in the UFC middleweight of 185 Pounds during his active days and could go as high as 200 pounds during fight night. However, this is no longer the case as the Holyfield fought at heavyweight during his active days and will be physically bigger than Belfort on fight night both in height, reach and experience.
The only advantage on Belfort’s corner is his age and possibly not ring rusted as Holyfield as he most recently fought in 2018.
