Crystal Palace Vs Tottenham Premier League Preview, Odds, Prediction And Build Up

Nuno Espirito Santo Tottenham Hotspur

Crystal Palace will kick start the  Premier League weekend as they welcome League Leaders Tottenham Hotspur to Selhurst Park On Match Day 4 with hopes of winning their first three points of the season.

Palace have had a rough start to their 2021/22 EPL season and have only been able to muster two points from their first three games of the season. The Eagles fell 3 – 0 to UEFA Champions Chelsea in their first game of the season and picked up a point against Rookies Brentford.

Palace registered their first goal of the season against West Ham in their last outing before the international break and had to come from behind twice to settle for a draw at the London Stadium. Thanks to a brace from Conor Gallagher.

Tottenham Hotspur lead by Nuno Espirito Santo have been untouchable in their first three games of the season. Three wins and three clean sheets which includes their 1 – 0 victory over 2020 Premier League Champions Manchester City back on August 14th at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Nuno lead the Spurs against his former side Wolves, took three points away from Molineux. Before finishing August on a high note with another 1 – 0 victory over Watford in their second home game of the season.

Nuno has transformed “The Spurs” into a highly defensively disciplined side which has left them the only side to go through all three games without conceding a single goal.

Crystal Palace have always been a dynamic side but will go through some serious resistance trying to break down the Tottenham Hotspur defence and will have to hold defence while doing so as the Spurs attack, made up of Dele Alli, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane have been known to cause serious problems on the break.

Odds And Predictions

The Bookmarkers have the Visitors Tottenham Hotspur as favourites to win the game with 1.87 points, which means for $100 (whatever currency you stake) you will get $87 as interest ones they emerge victorious.

For Crystal Palace they have them at 4.30 to defeat Tottenham Hotspur, meaning with $100, you get a profit of $3.30, if the Eagles win the game.

However, the probability of a Palace win is slim as it is reflected in the “Both Teams To Score” Odds. A whopping 1.8 points is awarded the fixture which is a little fair due to the difficulty in sending a ball into the Tottenham net.

Tottenham Hotspur will easily defeat Crystal Palace to remain top of the Premier League Table. Score Crystal Palace 0 – 2 Tottenham Hotspur.
