Neiman Gracie wins at Bellator 266

Neiman Gracie scored the first knockout victory of his career and this was a quick one and in highlight Reel Fashion, stopping Mark Lemminger with a flurry of Punches in the first round of Bellator 266 Co- Main Event on Saturday night at the SAP Center San Jose California.

Neiman brutally scored a standing knockout with referee Jason Herzog needing to step in to save his opponent at exactly 1:27 minutes into the opening round of the fight. Gracie connected an elbow which visibly rocked Lemminger and he followed up with an upper cut before ending him with a flurry.

“I don’t need to take people down to win fights any more,” Gracie said afterward. “I can win fights anywhere. But if I take you down…oh boy.”

Gracie called out a few fighters he would love to face and those he believes he needs to carry out revenge. He called out Michael Page “Venom” accusing him of avoiding a fight,  wants a rematch with Jason Jackson who he claims robbed him and Yaroslav Amosov whom he plans on facing due to style.

Gracie, who had Renzo Gracie and Rafael Cordeiro in his corner happily danced a traditional Muay Thai dance in celebration of the victory.

Neiman Gracie will look to get back in the win column when he takes on Mark Lemminger in the co main event of Bellator 266 which takes place on Saturdayat SAP Center, San Jose California.

The fourth ranked Gracie entered the fight with hopes of getting his career back on track after losing to Jason Jackson in his last outing. His will definitely admit his career has been somewhat of a rollercoaster since starting out his MMA career with a 9 – 0 record.

Gracie came up short in the biggest stage of his career, when he lost to the then Bellator Welterweight champion Rory MacDonald in Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix back in 2019. Gracie knocked out Jon Finch a fight after the loss but Jason Jackson was just too much for him.

Lemminger is constantly been fed to the wolves since making his debut a year ago against Jake Smith. champ Yaroslav Amosov and and prospect Jaleel Willis were his next opponents they weren’t joking, handing him two straight losses. However, Lemminger has bounced with a stoppage win over Demarques Jackson at Bellator 260.

Lemminger will look to build on that win when he takes on Gracie on Saturday night. An event headlined by a light heavyweight fight between Former Champion Phil Davis and Yoel Romero.
