Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva scored another vicious knockout over Fellow UFC Veteran Tito Ortiz in the undercard of Evander Holyfield Vs Victor Belfort on Saturday night.

Silva needed less than two minutes to dispatch Ortiz, knocking him unconscious with a big left-hand after using head movements to make Ortiz miss his flurry of shots. Silva who was cornered up by the aggressive Ortiz was able to turn Ortiz into the corner before drilling him with the big shot.
After the shot, Ortiz fell head first to the canvas and never attempted to get up throughout the referee’s count. Christopher Young ended the fight at exactly 1:21 of the first round. The fight was a scheduled eight round fight, each with two minutes.
Tito Ortiz got knocked out in his pro boxing debut while Silva, who has made his mark in the MMA world and is regarded as one of the best MMA fighters of all time improved his record to 3-1, with this being his second straight knockout victory.
“I expected more from this fight,” Silva said after the fight. “You know, I trained hard, showed my respect for the boxing world.”
Silva is making some waves with his Boxing career, which before the Ortiz Knockout saw the Brazilian out-point former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Ortiz disclosed prior to the fight that she had to drop up to 40 pounds to make the cruiserweight limit for the fight.
