Jared Gooden admitted his plight ahead of his fight against Niklas Stolze in the main Card of UFC Vegas 33 and with that knowledge, responded with a violent first round stoppage on Saturday night at the UFC Apex.

Gooden (18-6 MMA, 1-2 UFC) took the fight on just four ɗays notice but needed just 8 more minutes after the first minute to successfully put away Stolze (12-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) in their welterweight bout.
Things seemed confusing for both Gooden and Stolze after their bout was called off on fight day during to COVID 19 rule. However, the bout got reinstated after further medical clearance by the Doctors. This was a further motivation for Gooden, who expressed his mentality after the bout got reinstated.
“My mentality and my coach changed,” Gooden said in his post-fight interview with Paul Felder. “We knew we couldn’t go to the judges no more, and that’s what changed.”
