With the win, Kape was able to move back to the win column after two straight fights without a win. He has now ended his last four wins with a KO or TKO.
The finish was clearly “Fight Of The Night” worthy but Kape had failed to make weight, missing the Flyweight limit by three pounds, making him ineligible for the Bonus. However, Kape still made a demand for the bonus ignorantly but was clarified during the post fight Octagon interview by former Dual Champion Daniel Cormier.
Osbourne (9-4 MMA, 1-2 UFC) finds himself back in the loss column with and after defeating Jerome Rivera back in January. He has now competed in three different weight classes ranging from Flyweight to Featherweight.
