Tecia Torres was able to grind out a win after suffering some trying times in her career. She was on a four fight winning streak before dropping four losses in a row but that was against the best Strawweights in the UFC roaster Jessica Andrade (2018), Joanna Jedrzejczyk (2018), Weili Zhang and Marina Rodriguez. After a regrouping period, Torres is now on a two fight winning streak.

Angela Hill has had a pretty mixed UFC Career but no doubt has been improving. She presently has a 7-7 record in the UFC and just made it off her best years in the UFC 2019/2020, when she was able to muster a three fight winning streak which includes Ariane Carnelossi, Hannah Cifers and a decision over Loma Lookboonmee before losing two fights to Claudia Gadelha and Michelle Waterson. She has since bounced back with a unanimous decision over Ashley Yoder in March and will be hoping to build on that when She faces Torres at UFC 265.

Torres and Hill will be running it for the second time, having clashed backed in 2015, with Torres taking home a unanimous decision. However, that could still be the result in this one despite the tremendous improvement both have been able to achieve.

Hill owns the height and reach advantages in this one but Torres will look to level that up with her speed. If Torres comes out blazing, then the fans will be in for a big fight as Hill also has capabilities of delivering a slugfest when you invite her.
