Raphinha Shoots Stunner Leeds Vs Everton

Leeds United picked up their first Premier League point of the season with a 2 – 2 draw against Visitors Everton at Elland Road.

The Whites came from behind twice to pick up a hard earned point from Ancelotti’s Boys. First Mateusz Klich had to cancel out Calvert-Lewin’s early goal with crisp finish before Rafinha’s stunner sealed a point, cancelling out Demaria Grey’s 50th minute goal.

Leeds United went into the game against Everton with hopes of rewriting all wrongs from their 2021/22 season opener at Old Trafford a week ago but had to face another tough task in Ancelotti’s Boys, who beamed into this game with confidence from their victory in the first fixture.

Everton looked to make things worst for Leeds and were aided by a VAR, who rightfully awarded the Merseyside Blues. Calvert-Lewin’s penalty want in without mistake but some good play between Klitch and Bamford leveled the game in the 41 minutes into the game.

Everton picked up where they left off in the second half and were able to break the Leeds defence but the first attempt from Gray was blocked by Meslier could not stop the second attempt as the ball fizzled past Ayling, beyond the keeper into the net.

The game was looking like another loss was on the way but Philips sent in a cross that cased some issues for the Everton defenders, who failed to clear their lines. Cooper picked the ball up, sets up Rafinha for a shot and the rest was history. The ball curled into the far post causing an eruption at Elland Road.

Leeds United saw their defensive issues blown to their faces by Manchester United, who ran away 5 – 1 winners after 90 minutes of play in their first game of the season. Thanks to exceptional performances by Hat Trick scorer Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba with Four assist.

Everton took all three points away from their from their visitors with a stunning comeback, overturning a goal deficit with three second half goals from Brazilian Richarlison, Doucoure and Calvert-Lewin kicking off the season in style.
