Joshua Buatsi Punches Ricards Bolotniks

British Light heavyweight contender Joshua Buatsi blasted out a very determined Ricards Bolotniks in the eleventh round to retain his unbeaten record in MatchRoom Fight Card on Saturday evening In Brentwood, Essex.

Buatsi (15-0, 13 KOs) was forced to engage in a brawl early in the fight as Bolotniks was able to put out a competitive performance, willingly trading as much as he received from Buatsi, who relied more on his Jab and regularly connected from distance.

Buatsi gradually took over the fight and by the fourth round Bolotniks was constantly retreating as both his eyes seemed to be closing up. Buatsi finished the round dominantly and continued the onslaught in the fifth round. Bolotniks in his part, did everything to make the fight competitive.

In the sixth round Buatsi dropped Bolotniks hard, while they both exchanged hooks. Bolotniks made it back to his feet but met a series of heavy punches, which he was able to survive by firing counters of his own.

Bolotniks was able to get another round in the seventh round and connected a punches to show his presence was still in the fight after Buatsi’s total dominance of the sixth. However in the eight, Buatsi got some revival and battered Bolotnik, whose let eye was now bleeding as he was under some huge pressure. Bolotniks wasn’t deterred by that an kept on firing and at some point had Buatsi.

The ninth round was close as both went through it with back and forth exchanges. However the 10th was more of the same while in the eleventh round Buatsi landed a big right hand that sent Bolotniks to the canvas and knocking him unconscious for the stoppage.
