Brandon Figueroa Vs Stephen Fulton Unification Moves To Sept 18th

Brandon Figueroa Stephen Fulton

The anticipated Unification fight between unbeaten champions Brandon “Heartbreaker” Figueroa and Stephen “Cool Boy Steph” Fulton Jr. with the WBC and WBO Bantamweight titles has now been finalised for September 18th at the Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas.

The Fight which tops a Premier Boxing Champions fight card will be televised by ShowTime.

There has been lots of conversation about a potential fight between Figueroa vs. Fulton over the years and with both acquiring World titles, the fight will have more at stake, including Bragging Rights and a chance to go home with two World titles.

Fulton picked up the WBO title with total domination of formerly unbeaten Angelo Leo in January while, Figueroa knocked out former champion Luis Nery to capture the WBC title in May.

Figueroa will enter the fight with a few advantages over Fulton. These include a 2 inch height advantage and 5 cm reach advantage. However, apart from the fact that Fulton will need to cut down weight to the fight limit, he could easily get hydrated back to 126 pounds on fight night.

Figueroa has been in three more fights than the WBO champ but has a better knockout ratio, knocking out 17 of the 22 fighters on his record as compared to 8 out of 19 on Fulton’s record.
