UFC Flyweight Miranda Maverick (9-2)  will look to further solidify her spot in the UFC ranking when she takes on Maycee Barber (8-2) on the main card of UFC Vegas 32 in Saturday night 24th July at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Maverick has since made a name for herself by putting together some impressive performances that include a submission victory over DeAnna Bennett (2019) and a unanimous decision over Pearl Gonzalez (2020) before getting called up by the UFC to make her debut eight months later.

Maverick made her debut at UFC 254 which took place at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi UAE. She forced a doctor’s stoppage with an elbow on Liana Jojua’s nose and this year was able to pick a crucial unanimous decision over Gillian Robertson.

Maycee Barber was one of the most talked about fighters in the UFC in recent times but things hasn’t been as smooth as expected. Barber made her debut back in 2018 and easily defeated Hannah Cifers with a ground and pound. Barber then moved up to Flyweight defeating JJ Aldrich and Robertson to announce her arrival at the weight class. However things took another turn as Roxanne Modafferi out grappled her in her next outing stunning her to Winn a unanimous decision.

Barber came back out with hopes of getting back in the winning column but was handed another unanimous decision loss by Alexa Grasso.
