Manchester United has reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho.
The transfer will only be completed after the player has undergone a medical and pens his signature in agreement to the contractual terms of the deal. This can only be don after the forward has completed his International obligations with England in the EURO’s.
United have been chasing the forward for about four years now and have always failed to reach and agreement mostly because of the fee attached to the forward. United have never in that period showed a slag in the chase for the young outstanding 21 year old.
Sancho, who is presently fulfilling his duties with England could remain with the international team till 11th of July, that is only if they make it to the finals. Ukraine will stand in their way this coming Sunday when they meet in the Quarter Finals of the UEFA European Championships.
Reports have it, Manchester United will sign the winger for a £76.55m fee, £72.9m will the main fee, while United will also have to pay solidarity fees to Manchester City (£1.46m) and Watford (£2.19m), which are Sancho’s former clubs.
With such transfer Fee, Sancho will become the third most expensive player in the United’s History. He will be slightly more expensive than Romelu Lukaku, Harry Maguire and Paul Pogba. The deal for United is moving more swift because the two teams were close to reaching a deal before the close of the transfer last season.
The speculation on whether or not is over and United will have to we sit till the end of the EURO’s and his medical before officially announcing the arrival of Sancho. The 21 year old will be a very needed arrival as United have a deficit of creative wingers in the squad.
