Britain Hart was able to get her second Bare knuckle victory with a TKO victory over Jenny Savage in the co-main event of BKFC 19 on Friday night in Tampa, Florida.
Hart went into the fight on the back of a unanimous decision victory over Paige VanZant back in February and heading into the Grudge fight with Jenny savage, it was clear she had a serious job to do. However, she was able to successfully get the Job done, overwhelming Jenny savage with a flurry of punches at exactly 1:55 of the third round, forcing the referee to stop the fight. The win brings her one step closer to a title shot.
Jenny Savage was meeting a fighter with a physical advantage and was sure waiting for an opportunity to counter and close the distance. Hart showed great skill and stuck to her prefight tactics which help her surge into an advantage in the early seconds of the fight. Hart blasted Savage with a series of shots that forced Savage to clinch while they both struggled for positions on the ropes.
Savage was at a physical disadvantage and could only connect better in the clinch, Hart knew that and decided to connect from afar, causing a lot of problems with speed and power punches. Savage was also successful in the clinch too landing uppercuts and body shots in the clinch while Savage was doing her thing in the clinch.
The damage done by Savage was evident by the end of the second round. Hart went to her corner with a swelling in Her eye but that seemed more like a motivation to finish the fight before the end of the next round.
Hart started her next round with all the She got, firing down on Savage that she was was forced to the ropes, trapping her there, She connected a flurry while the referee watched Savage’s reaction to the blows she was collecting and after noticing she was no longer reacting or retaliating to the punches, the referee jumped in to stop the fight.
