UFC On ABC 1 Video Highlights : Max Holloway Vs Calvin Kattar


Former featherweight Max Holloway showed Calvin Kattar what it meant facing a championship fighter. Holloway (22-6 MMA, 18-6 UFC), , who put together a notable streak to get enough on his status in order to headline the first ever Card on a Network television can now give a testimony.

Holloway was able to showcase his spectacular form, taught Kattar (22-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC)  a lesson by simply chopping him gradually through 25 minutes on his way to a unanimous decision victory 50-43, 50-43, and 50-42 in the main event of UFC On ABC 1.

Holloway was very precise in his approach and decorated his intentions from the opening round. He went at Kattar with massive combo’s made up of four or three punches and constantly made his opponent guess as he varied his attack from head to the body.

The second round was much more than Kattar could take as he was only able to hold in till the horn was heard. Holloway battered Katter giving him no choice than to be in the run. He folded and just held on till the horn.

Kattar was able to get Holloway’s attention in the third round with his powerful right hand. He connected it about three times in the round but Holloway was still the dominant and ended the round with a masterful dodging of some brutal combo from Kattar.

Kattar showed heart with how much Ramage he was able to take and still stayed on his feet in the fourth round. Holloway was out for a knockout and went at it with countless flurrys, Kattar took them, wobbled by was somehow able to stand on his feet. He was also able to take three kicks before the round ended.

Kattar and his corner somehow felt positive or maybe just content with the one-sided fight as he took damage again in the fifth round. Holloway finished the fight in style and uttermost perfection. He was not really bothered in the fight.
