The Ultimate Fighting Championship UFC looks to kick-start the year with an action promising card on Saturday, UFC on ABC 1 , which will be headlined by former champion Max Holloway battling top featherweight contender Calvin Kattar at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Holloway wants to prove that his business in the title picture isn’t done yet and will be hoping to stop Kattar’s surge into the title picture. Both fighters tipped the scales fit and both came in at 146 pounds using the one pound allowance given by the promotion for non tittle fights.

The former champ Holloway looks to get back in the title picture with a win and Kattar will sure fall in the category, if he is able to topple the Holloway. The main card will be broadcasted Live on ABC, following prelims on ESPN+

Carlos Cordite and Matt Brown will be colliding in the Co-Main event. A battle between two of the longest competitors in the promotion. Cordite will be making his 18th outing, while Matt Brown will bring all his experience which equals 27 appearances in the Promotion.
