UFC 256 Fight Card Preview : Deiveson Figueiredo Vs Brandon Moreno

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC will be hitting the screens on the 12th of December with their 256th Major Events tagged UFC 256, headlined by a Flyweight championship bout between Champion Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno, which is scheduled to take place at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.

Figueiredo will be making the second defence of his flyweight belt since taking out David Benavidez to win the belt earlier this year. By fight. His first defence was a first round submission victory over Alex Perez at UFC 255 and By fight night, he will be fighting for the second time in 21 days, which is the fastest turn around fight for a UFC champion.

The Co-Main Event will see Tony Ferguson take on submission specialist Charles Oliveira in his bid to get back to winning ways after losing his interim lightweight championship title via fifth round Knockout to Justin Gaethje back in May at UFC 249. Gaethje took the fight on short notice

Charles Olivera will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since submitting Kevin Lee with a Guillotine in the third round back in March at UFC fight Night Brasilia. That was his 14th straight submission victory in the UFC. Oliviera goes into the fight with 29 career wins, boasted by 19 submission wins between them.

Another action promising fight on the card is the action promising lightweight match up between Renato Moicano and Rafael Fiziev. Moicano seeks to build on his 44 second stoppage win over Damir Hadzovic in his lightweight debut, a move he made after consecutive losses at the Featherweight division.

Fiziev is presently on a two fight winning streak, with wins over Alex White & Marc Diakiese and with eight wins, losing just two in his last 10 appearances for the promotion. After losing his promotional debut, Fiziev was able to turn the tide with some stunning performances and will be hoping to make his third straight win which will boast his ranking in the lightweight division.
