RB Liepzig will welcome English giants Manchester United to the Red Bull Arena on Tuesday for a serious qualification battle, that will see atleast one of the two sides make it through to the Round Of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Manchester United picked up a 3 – 1 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday but will be hoping to transfer that form over to the European front, as Paris Saint Germain and their upcoming Hosts RB Liepzig all leveled with nine points in Group H.
The Red Devils have been inconsistent in their performance in the European front, this has seen them lose six points to Birsiktas and PSG and will require atleast a draw against Liepzig to make it into the Knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League, when they travel to Germany on Tuesday evening.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Men ran out 5-0 winners in their first meeting with RB Liepzig at Old Trafford but the German side have been able to bounce back win victories against PSG and twice against Birsiktas to equal the Red Devils with nine points.
RB Leipzig played out a 3 – 3 draw in their visit to Allianz Arena and will be hoping to transfer the scoring form in their bid for a revenge against Manchester United, who trashed them 5Nil in their visit to Old Trafford, courtesy of a Marcus Rashford hat-trick
