Visitors Paris Saint Germain, were able to kick-start the game with a lead as the looked to get back to winning ways after a run of losses to Liepzig, Monaco and a 2 – 2 draw in the weekend with Bordeaux. Neymar Jr. is such a talented individual, picking a loose ball from Maguire’s tackle on Mbappe. The angle was tight but he was able to score, finding the top corner.

The visitors were very dominant in the first 15 minutes and controlled the ball with their counters led by Neymer and Mbappe. Fred constantly been disturbed by Veratti, narrowly escaped a red card in the 23rd minute and was awarded a yellow for an incident that looked like an intentional headbutt.

Manchester United eventually got leveled in the 32nd minute with a deflected strike from Marcus Rashford. Wan-Bissaka did a good job keep the ball alive down the flank and was able to set Rashford up for a shot but the ball got deflected by Diallo, which sent the ball slowly into the bottom corner.

United went into the break with a less deserved draw but had a chance to take the lead in the opening three minutes of the second half. Martial couldn’t capitalise on his opportunities, forcing a non threatening save from PSG No. 1 and hitting the cross with another in the 56th minute.

PSG took the lead again, nine minutes after the hour mark after United failed to clear out a corner, Bakker takes a shot but the ball is deflected into Marquinhos part and the skipper was able score. Everything seemed to be heading in PSG’s favour in the next series of events.

Fred finally got sent off for a foul on Verratti. The tackle came in late but the second yellow seem a little harsh. However, he may be paying for his sin’s from the first half and despite been debatable, Fred was a little wreckless with the challenge and his decision will leave United, Man Down through the remaining minutes of the game.

PSG took over the game and were unstoppable breaking through the United defence with attacks led by Neymar and Mbappe. They eventually cemented their lead and imminent victory with a goal in the 92nd minute. A wonderful run from Neymar from his own half, gives the ball to Mbappe, who finds Rafinha and the skipper plays back to Neymar, who scored with ease.

PSG ones again defeat Manchester United at Old Trafford and that leaves Manchester United, PSG and RB Liepzig with nine points in Group H, leaving a suspense on the outcome in the final game of the group stage.
