Everton FC host Chelsea FC at Goodison Park in Premier League on Saturday evening with plans of getting back to the winning column for the first time since their 3-2 away victory over Fulham. They have since then lost to Leeds United and played a 1-1 draw with Burley.
Chelsea FC were able to get top the Premier League, atleast briefly before Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool both won their games last weekend, they will look to solidify it this time when they face the Merseysiders in their visit to Goodison Park.
Frank Lampard’s men have been on some good form recently with Olivier Giroud being the most clinical for the Blues in recent game s and has been able to net in all their recent games, except their goalless draw with Tottenham Hotspur and their visit to Newcastle on the 21st of November.
Frank Lampard’s men played out a 1-1 draw with FC Krasnodar in their Europa League outing in the midweek and before then had defeated leads 3-1 at Stanford Bridge. However, their draw with Krasnodar might not really be judged as bad result as there was little importance to the result due to their comfortable lead and a point was all they needed to finish top of group E.
Everton have had some issues finding the net recently and has since their last win lost to newly promoted Leeds United and were able to get a point against Burnley. However this is going to be a tough task for the Merseysider Blues.
The game will definitely be a clear win for Chelsea as both teams are presently at opposite ends when talking about form. Everton will try to hold down the Blues but will definitely succumb to the pressure the Blues will bring in the Visit.
Score … Everton 0 – 3 Chelsea
