Southampton 2 – 3 Man United : Carvani Stars In Incredible Comeback

Manchester United staged a great comeback against Southampton in their away visit to the St. Mary’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon, thanks to an awesome performance from super-sub Edinson Cavani.
The Red Devil were two goals down at half time but we’re able to score three goals in the second half, which earned them the three available points and fires them up to seventh place on the Premier League table.
The Saints were the most precise, when talking of clinicality in the final third, scoring from two set pieces in the first 45. First an awesome header from Bednarek and then a blazing freekick from Ward-Prowse was enough to hand the Saints first half victory.
The Red Devils hit back a minute before the hour mark an awesome strike from Bruno Fernandez was enough to give hope to United before Super sub Edinson Cavani came on and scored two great goals to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a befitting victory.
Manchester United could fall in the top four mix with another win, having made it five points away from the top with the win and now occupy the seventh position on the Premier League table. The Saints on the other hand, remain fifth with 17 points from 10 outings this season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will look to shift the motivation to their UEFA Champions League clash with French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) this coming Wednesday at Old Trafford.
