Newcastle 0 – 2 Chelsea PL Video Highlights Nov 21, 2020


Fresh off the International break Newcastle United FC will play host to Chelsea FC in an early kick off, as they hope to break into the Top Four at the end of 90 minutes at the St. James Park.

St. James Park has always been a tough away destination for the Blues behind Amfield and The Emirates Stadium. However, a win will take them top of the Premier League table , temporarily on goal difference before Leicester City, Liverpool FC, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur play later in the weekend.

Newcastle United, presently placed 13th on the Premier League table have in their last meeting with Chelsea, picked up just two wins, which includes a 1-0 victory over the “Blues” in their last meeting and will be under pressure to get a good result in order to avoid the Relegation Zone.

Chelsea have been unbeaten on the road this season and have been prolific in the final third, scoring 34 goals so far this season with incredible performances from new signings Timo Werner (8), Kai Havertz (4), Ben Chilwell (2), Hakim Ziyech (2) and Thiago Silva (1). They’ve also weighed in with 13 assists.

Newcastle United are coming off a 2-0 defeat to Southampton and are expected to put on their safety first approach, which has always been their preference this season Inder Steve Bruce. They boost the ninth best defensive side in the Premier League.
