Liverpool FC picked up a well deserved three points from the visitors Leicester City, beating them up with two un-replied goals to join Tottenham Hotspur with 18 points at the top of the Premier League table.
The Foxes were able to hold the Reds in the first 20 minutes of the game but eventually trailed after Johnny Evans, while trying to make a defensive header, blindly headed the Ball right into his own goal in the 21st minute.
Liverpool almost made it two, after Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota both combined to bundle the ball into the net, but Fouled Schmeichel in the process. The goal got cancelled by the referee. Leicester also blew a chance to make the ball leveled in the 23rd minute.
Liverpool took over full control of the game and had a lot of possession but their first legitimate goal came in the 41st minute , when Jota scored a glancing header after Curtis Jones picks up the ball sends the ball to Robertson, who sends in the Cross to Jota.
The Foxes tried an immediate attempt but Allison was able to pick out Your Tielemans shot. The Reds held in and were able to go into the break with the lead.
The visitors had a couple of chances which they failed to finished of clinically in the second half and despite their bid for a change. They were made to pay ones again befor the end of the game by Roberto Firmino.
Leicester city keeper Peter Schmeichel has been exceptional and has been able to make so many saves that has helped keep the Goals but a third goal by Roberto Firmino sealed their faith in the 86th minute. Milner sent in a corner and Firmino leaped higher than everyone to score a perfect header.
The win leaves Liverpool Leveled on points with Premier League leaders Tottenham Hotspur with 18 points.
