UFC On ESPN+ 29 Weigh In Results And Face Off Photo – Smith Vs Teixeira

The Ultimate Fighting championship will be hitting the airwaves ones again on Wednesday we with UFC On ESPN+ 29 and everything is presently going to plan as all the fighters for the event made the weight limit for their respective bouts, making all fights official following early-morning weigh-ins at the host hotel in Florida.
Anthony Smith (33-14 MMA, 8-4 UFC) and Glover Teixeira (30-7 MMA, 13-5 UFC) both made weight for their main event match up while middleweight Karl Roberson (9-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) was the only fighter on the card to come in overweight, tipping the scales at 187.5 pounds, 1.5 pounds over the weight limit for the fight.

The Heavyweight Co-Main event is also set as Ben Rothwell (37-12 MMA, 7-6 UFC) came in one pound lesser than the weight limit, while his opponent Ovince Saint-Preux (24-13 MMA, 12-8 UFC) was able to accumulate a massive a 240.5 pounds for his heavyweight debut.

Former flyweight contender Ray Borg (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) made weight with ease for his bantamweight bout. He kicked off the early Weigh In’s being the first to tip the scales.

Alexander Hernandez (11-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) was the last to tip the scales and in his arrival looked nervous but was able to hit the 155pound limit for his fight with ease and shouldn’t have worried.
