Jacare Souza Targets Romero And Gastelum Rematches After Uriah Hall At UFC 249
Jacare “Ronaldo” Souza has a big plan to carry out after UFC 249 and that includes getting back in the ring with two of his former foes Yoel Romero and Kelvin Gastelum.
Souza (26-8 MMA, 9-5 UFC) is on a two fight losing streak and will be looking to avoid making it three when, he takes on Uriah Hall at UFC 249. An event scheduled for May 9th.

The fight between Ronaldo Souza and Uriah Hall will be a match up between a good grappler and a classic striker. However, Souza acknowledges the threat but believes that he definitely capable with his mapped out plan to defeat him.
Souza believes, he will be finishing Hall in the second round of the fight with disclosing the reasons behind his prediction. He aims to prove he is the better fighter.
“I have a lot of respect for Hall,” Souza told MMA Junkie. “He’s a great fighter, he’s incredible, he’s a knockout master. But I’m ready to use my skills and beat him. I did a very good training camp for this fight and, on fight day, I want to prove that I’m better than him.
“I believe I’m going to win this fight in the second round. I don’t know why, but I believe I’m going to win in the second.”
Ronaldo Souza will look to avenge his Split decision losses against Kelvin Gestelum and Yoel Romero ones, he is able to get past Hall at UFC 249.
“I’d like to make a rematch against Romero,” Souza said. “I believe it’s gonna be a great fight – or Kelvin Gastelum. I have to prove that I’m the king of the rematch because I never lost a rematch, and I’d like to make a rematch against these fighters. … But right now I have to be focused on my opponent because he’s tough. I have to be smart because he’s tough.”
