Kell Brook Reveals Positive Talks With Bob Arum And Crawford Team
Former IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook presently has little issues making a big return to the 147 pound division.
Brook, who hails from Sheffield hasn’t fought in the weight division since, his title reign came to an abrupt end by way of a stoppage loss to reigning unified welterweight titlist Errol Spence back in 2017. Since then, he has fought four times in the Junior middle weight division and in his last outing back in February, knocked out Mark ‘Bazooka’ DeLuca before his hometown Fans.

Brook in an Instagram chat with Promoter Eddie Hearn made clear he is getting “Signals” from Bob Arum and the Crawford team of a possible fight to be made.
“The signals we’re getting from Crawford’s team and Bob Arum, [the fight is] there to be made,” Brook (39-2, 27KOs) insisted to promoter Eddie Hearn during a recent Instagram Live interview. “It’s a huge, huge fight.”
Brook, who has been out of the title picture since his reign ended will have his promoters dream of matching him with a top name in the Junior middleweight division or a domestic fight with Liam Smith. However, non of those fights will be top priority for the Sheffield fighter at the moment.
Kell Brook is definitely past his prime but could still pull out huge crowds in the UK ,coupled with the fact that he is still very relevant in the sport. Brook is also 2-0 in the US, which is definitely the front runner as a location for the Crawford fight.
“Crawford is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters out there. I’ve said before I leave this game I want to face the best fighters out there.”
