Manchester United Alexis Sanchez Set To Miss Six – Eight Weeks
Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has been confirmed out for about six to eight weeks due to a knee ligament damage, he incurred before getting forced off the pitch in the second half of United’s 3-2 win over Southampton in the weekend.
Chile national team doctor Pedro Onate told newspaper El Mercurio, that Sanchez won’t be playing at all due to “medial ligament distension”. This will add to the long list of injury issues Manchester United is facing at the moment.

If Onate’s predictions are correct, United will only have Sanchez back for the two final Premier League games of the season against Huddersfield and Cardiff or unless United make it further in the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup.
This will be the second time Sanchez will be visiting the sidelines this season. He spent six weeks out due to a hamstring issues under Jose Mourinho and had just returned in December.
