Cristiano Ronaldo Celebrates Juventus Goal

Cristiano Ronaldo opted to leave Real Madrid after nine seasons to join Italian Giants Juventus in the Summer but Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes, Cristiano Ronaldo will return to the Santiago Bernabeu one day.

Ronaldo who was 33 by the time of his departure, was reported to have had a rift with the Perez over his contract with the Club and that Madrid agreed to match his Juventus fees of 55 million annual income.

“I would have given him a hug [if he had attended FIFA’s The Best awards] because, as I said [on Sunday], the Real Madrid fans are very proud to have counted with Cristiano for nine seasons,” Perez speaking on “El Chiringuito.”

“He is the worthy successor of Alfredo Di Stefano, he is the player who has scored more goals in the history of Madrid, and I think that he is one of those players who will be in the hearts of the Real Madrid fans and will [be remembered] from generation to generation. He is one of those that one day will come back.”
