Austrian GP : Max Verstappen Wins, Hamilton Retires And Vettel Takes Championship Lead

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the Austrian GP after Merc drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas surfered car failures , that saw them retire.
Lewis Hamilton lost the drivers Championship Lead to Sébastian Vettel after the retirement, he had already lost the lead because Mercedes mistakenly failed to pit their lead driver under a Virtual Safety Car deployed for Bottas’ retirement.
Sébastian Vettel started out in sixth position after a controversial grid demotion but eventually ended third behind Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen to move a point ahead of Hamilton.
Mercedes did not just lose their drivers Championship Lead, they also lost the constructors championship due to Ferrari’s double Podium finish.
Romain Grosjean finished fourth ahead of Haas team-mate Kevin Magnussen in fifth, Force India duo Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez in six and seventh, while Sauber took the final points-paying positions with Charles Leclerc taking back ninth from team-mate Marcus Ericsson in 10th position.
