WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against Felix Caraballo, working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night.

Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent Caraballo to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth.

With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Stevenson was placed a 100-1 favourite, heading into the fight and he proved right the bookmarkers by winning all the five rounds (50-44, 50-44, 50-43) before the stoppage, dropping Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) twice in the first round…

Spence revealed the information in a tweet, giving the date but withholding the venue as there is uncertainty about when the COVID 19 restrictions in the United States will be lifted to allow audiences attend live event.

Spence added the hashtags #Mandown and #strapseason to his message. The Spence -Garcia fight will be officially announced on the 8th of August when Thomas Dulorme (25-3-1, 16 KOs) and Jamal James (26-1, 12 KOs) will fight for the WBA interim welterweight title in a 12 round Main Event at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Ted Cheeseman Defeats Sam Eggington On Points In Fight Camp Opener ↑ Grab this Headline Animator Ted Cheeseman (16-2-1, 9 KOs) rejuvenated his boxing career with a unanimous decision victory over Sam Eggington (28-7, 17 KOs) in the opening event of Eddie Hearn's "Fight Camp" at MatchRoom Headquarters in Brentwood Essex.
Cheeseman went three fights in 2019 without a victory and without this victory would be thinking retirement. The fight ended with judges Phil Edwards and Ian John-Lewis scoring the fight 116-113 While Howard Foster scored 115-114 all for Ted Cheeseman.
