WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against Felix Caraballo, working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night.

Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent Caraballo to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth.

With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Stevenson was placed a 100-1 favourite, heading into the fight and he proved right the bookmarkers by winning all the five rounds (50-44, 50-44, 50-43) before the stoppage, dropping Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) twice in the first round…

Tyson Fury Bloodies Deontay Wilder

Anthony Joshua, the unified heavyweight champion believes that Tyson Fury totally exposed former champ Deontay Wilder in their rematch which took place back in February 22nd.

Fury, who was dropped twice in the first fight, which ended a controversial split draw back in 2018, sent Deontay Wilder to the canvas twice en route to a seventh round stoppage victory to win the WBC title.

Tyson Fury was supposed to meet formerly unbeaten Wilder in a trilogy fight in the Summer but has been postponed to a date in October due to the Corona Virus pandemic.

The IBF ,IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua believes that Tyson Fury totally annihilated Wilder, exposing him in the rematch, what he predicted.
"I believed Tyson Fury could potentially do what he done," Joshua told Sky Sports.
"I just felt like, Deontay Wilder is a formidable ex-champion and has a chance to come back, but I just knew that when he gets to the top level, it will be difficult, because it's one thing getting there and it's another thing staying there.
"We've seen in some of his fights, it's been difficult for him and then he lands his punch and he's been victorious, but I always believe that when you go to war, you can't have one weapon in your arsenal, which was his right hand.
"Once that was taken away from him, which Tyson Fury did, I'm not going to go into tactics, but he was able to annihilate Deontay Wilder and expose him for some of his weaknesses. Tyson Fury did a great job tactically and I'm looking forward to their rematch."
Anthony Joshua is looking forward to facing Tyson Fury in a unification fight but will have to defeat IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev in a fight which is probably going to happen in a date in June.
