WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against Felix Caraballo, working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night.

Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent Caraballo to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth.

With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Stevenson was placed a 100-1 favourite, heading into the fight and he proved right the bookmarkers by winning all the five rounds (50-44, 50-44, 50-43) before the stoppage, dropping Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) twice in the first round…

UFC 246 Results : Brian Kellerher Submits Ode Osbourne In One

Brian Kellerher UFC 246

Brian Kelleher was given a late call up from the UFC 246 preliminary card to the main card but that opportunity was taken and massively utilized as he needed less than a minute to submit Contender Series veteran Ode Osborne with a nasty guillotine choke on Saturday night.
Brian Kelleher entered the fight in a tight corner after going two straight losses and understood the do or die situation he found himself and how another loss could affect his career.
“That’s one of my things that guillotine, I look for it,” Kelleher said about the submission finish. “My back was against the wall in this fight. I lost two fights in a row and this is all I know.”

Osbourne kicked off the fight aggressively, looking to catch Kelleher off guard with a flying punch and nurtured intentions of pulling of a highlight worthy finish but that was all as Osbourne countered magnificently with a take down and that spelled the end.

Immediately Kelleher saw the opportunity for a quick end, he used his hand to apply pressure on Osbourne's neck and after noticing Osbourne might survive that move, he changed the game and turned to his back and went for the Guillotine choke, tie his hands up so that he used his legs to tap out.

Kellerher went 4-3 with the victory in the UFC which Osbourne lost his Octagon debut.
