WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against Felix Caraballo, working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night.

Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent Caraballo to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth.

With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Stevenson was placed a 100-1 favourite, heading into the fight and he proved right the bookmarkers by winning all the five rounds (50-44, 50-44, 50-43) before the stoppage, dropping Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) twice in the first round…

      Key Moments Recap :
      Goal : 3' 0 - 1 Jill Scott
What a start! England have begun on the front foot but this is a brilliant reward. Bronze races clear on the right before pulling the ball across with a low delivery.
White misses it in the middle but Scott is ready for it, and side-foots across it well to leave Hjelmseth helpless as her low shot sneaks in off the far post.

      Goal : 40' 0 - 2 Ellen White
Ellen White. Record breaker. The owl celebration is out again as England double their lead just before the break with a wonderfully worked goal.
It begins out on the right where Bronze slips the ball inside to Parris when Minde goes out to close her down.
She gets into the box and instead of shooting this time, pulls a perfect pass into White in the middle - and having timed her run to perfection, she slots beyond Hjelmseth to double England's lead. That's six goals for her in World Cup finals - an England record.

      Goal : 57' 0 - 3 Lucy Bronze
Come out from behind the sofa - England are surely on their way to the semi-finals now.
England win another free-kick wide on the right which again finds its way to Bronze courtesy of a low pass from new-arrival Mead, and from full on 25 yards she powers the ball through the hands of Hjelmseth and into the roof of the net.
