Shakur Stevenson Breaks Down Felix Caraballo, Stops Him In Six ↑ Grab this Headline Animator
WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against Felix Caraballo, working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night.

Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent Caraballo to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth.

With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Stevenson was placed a 100-1 favourite, heading into the fight and he proved right the bookmarkers by winning all the five rounds (50-44, 50-44, 50-43) before the stoppage, dropping Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) twice in the first round…

World Boxing Council (WBC) female World super featherweight champion Eva Wahlstrom (22-1-1, 3 KOs) will headline the latest installment of RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS® at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on august 2nd.

She will be defending her world title against WBC FECOMBOX super featherweight champion and Mexican challenger Yareli "Chocolita" Larios (13-2-1, 3 KOs), who will be fighting for the second time outside her hometown. Her first fight ended an eight round Unanimous decision loss to (NABF) champion Mikaela Mayer (10-4, 4 KOs).

Wahlstrom defeated Natalia Vanesa del Valle Aguirre to win the title back in 2015 and has since then defeated Dahiana Santana (35-7), Anahi Esther Sanchez (14-0), Mayra Alejandra Gomez (18-5) and Melissa St. Vil (10-2-4) in her four title defenses till date.

Wahlstrom lost a decision against the now undisputed world lightweight Champion Katie Taylor 14-0 (6 KOs) in a lightweight adventure at Madison Square Garden in New York City . She was fighting for the first time outside Finland. 

"I'm excited to meet Yareli Larios," Wahlstrom said. "She is a young, dangerous opponent who will surely come very well prepared for this title fight. Her father is an ex-WBC champion, so this fight surely has extra importance for their entire team. We must be well prepared for whatever they bring. I wish her all the best for her preparation."
