WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against Felix Caraballo, working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night.

Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent Caraballo to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth.

With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Stevenson was placed a 100-1 favourite, heading into the fight and he proved right the bookmarkers by winning all the five rounds (50-44, 50-44, 50-43) before the stoppage, dropping Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) twice in the first round…

    Key Moments Recap :

    GOAL : 41' 0 - 1 Jimenez
Wolves take the lead after a right-wing corner eventually finds its way through to Jota, waiting unmarked on the left edge of the box.
And from the forward's delicious cross to the far post, there was Jimenez to head the visitors ahead from virtually on the goal line.

    GOAL 49' 1 - 1 Andrey Grey
What a mess as Bennett does not see Deulofeu behind him as the defender passes the ball back to Patricio.
However, after the Wolves No 1 denies the Spaniard with an excellent stop, the ball breaks nicely to Gray, who drives home his ninth goal of the season into an empty net.

    GOAL : Diogo Jota
Oh dear, what a terrible mistake by the normally reliable Foster, who comes to claim Neves's deep ball across the area.
However, the 'keeper totally misjudges the centre, allowing Jota a simple volleyed finish at the back post.

    • Wolves ended a run of five Premier League away games without a win (D2 L3), after winning three of the five before that
    • Jimenez has been directly involved in 20 Premier League goals for Wolves this season (13 goals, 7 assists), the fourth-biggest haul in a campaign by a non-British player for a newly-promoted side (Bryan Roy - 24 for Nottingham Forest in 94/95, Niall Quinn - 22 for Sunderland in 99/00 and Peter Odemwingie - 22 for West Brom in 10/11)
    • Jota has had a hand in seven goals in his last eight Premier League games (4 goals, 3 assists), as many as he managed in his previous 23 this season
    • Gray has scored five goals in his last seven home games for Watford in all competitions, having netted just three in his first 23 appearances at Vicarage Road for the Hornets
    • Since the start of 2016/17, Watford's Jose Holebas has picked up 33 yellow cards in the Premier League, more than any other player
