WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against Felix Caraballo, working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night.

Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent Caraballo to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth.

With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Stevenson was placed a 100-1 favourite, heading into the fight and he proved right the bookmarkers by winning all the five rounds (50-44, 50-44, 50-43) before the stoppage, dropping Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) twice in the first round…

WBC Champion Deontay Wilder has finally agreed a deal to face IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua In the UK and says it is left for the Brit to finalize the deal.

News : Deontay Wilder Will Recieve A Contract By The End Of The Week - Hearn

He released a video on his Twitter account on Monday night to drop the information. Wilder , who in the past , offered a 50m to fight Joshua in the US, says his deal is still open to consideration

Wilder's co-manager Shelly Finkel has also confirmed the information to ESPN.
"We have agreed to the terms that Eddie (Hearn) has put out to us for a fight in the UK.

"Deontay sent an email to Joshua on Sunday night and I sent one today to Barry Hearn and Eddie telling them that we officially accept the offer to fight under the terms they gave us and to send us the contract."

Negotiations have been on since Joshua defeated Parker back in March 31st and there have been issues with the fight purse and Location. According to Wilder's trainer Jay Deas fighting in the UK does not favour Wilder but he is doing it for legacy.

"They offered and we accepted. We offered $50m, which is what he said he wanted and then he turned it down", explained Deas.

"Then they came back with a much, much, much smaller offer for Deontay, which would have been even less than Deontay would have made in the United States, and wanted him to still travel to the UK for the fight. And we said yes.

"The reason we did is because Deontay is investing in himself. He wants this for the fans and he wants this for his legacy and he knows that being the undisputed heavyweight champ of the world will give him the financial gain as he proceeds.

"Even though we would have liked a better deal, Deontay said yes."
