GGG Trainer : Canelo Alvarez Unrealistic In KO Treat

Canelo Alvarez Vs Gennady Golovkin was a hell of a fight back in September, 2017 and ended with a almost split draw with the three judges scoring 114-114, 115-113 Golovkin and 118-110 , which many see as controversial, as many believed the score was manipulated to favour the Mexican Star.

With the uncertainty surrounding the fight both fighters will meet again, this time I'm Mexico come May 5th, which is promised by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) to be a settler, as he plans on ending the fight with a KO.

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs) has not spoken much on the issue but his trainer Abel Sanchez, believes Canelo Alvarez treat of a knock out is only talk.

"First of all I don’t think it was that close. I think a lot of people had it 8-4, but he still lost. Golovkin can do the same thing he did before and Canelo can do the same thing, and the fight will be the same as the first one. I think it’s on Canelo because of all the smack he’s talking," Abel Sanchez told On The Ropes Boxing Radio .

"Canelo did the same thing the first time, he said he was going to go out and knock Golovkin out in the tenth round, and so did Hopkins and De La Hoya, it didn’t happen and all they did was talk. They are doing the same thing again, so Canelo is putting the pressure on himself.

"All Golovkin has to do is what he did before and he wins the fight again. If Canelo stands in front of him, we’re going to see a different fight, we’re going to see a fight that the public is expecting, a classic fight."
