Overeem (46-18 MMA, 11-7 UFC) was part of those fighters , who showed care when Harris went through those trying times but kept to his word to stick to business when they eventually met in Saturday night. Overeem was able to overcome the early charge from Harris, scored a highlight reel TKO victory at exactly 3:00 of the second round.

Conor McGregor had a great fight against Floyd Mayweather back in August 26th and this initially paved the way for some call outs between fighters in both MMA and Boxing, though non have yet committed to fruition, another call out now seem on the way as Georges St-Pierre of the MMA World has now through his trainer made know his intentions of facing Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd Mayweather made some huge figures after coming out of Retirement to face Profesional UFC star and present lightweight champion Conor McGregor, who was making him Boxing debut and eventually stopped him in the tenth round in a junior middleweight fight.

The Bout generated huge figures and even Conor McGregor bagged more money than he has ever gotten in his UFC Career. This has attracted many, who would love to have such huge paydays and this now includes GSP.

Georges St-Pierre vacated his Middleweight title and his heading back to the welterweight division, showing interest of facing Conor McGregor or a boxing Match with Floyd Mayweather.

Firas Zahabi, GSP's head Coach said in an interview with TSN, “I think Georges is gonna get better, get back in the gym,” said Zahabi. “He’s gonna feel his body out and see what he wants, what’s the most interesting, epic fight out there. 
Mayweather? McGregor? We need a mega-fight. Georges will come back for a big, exciting fight.”

His recent actions has brought to him criticisms from the MMA community, as he Vacated a title without making a single defense but his coach defended his actions and justified his reasons for seeking big paydays.

“I always tell people, if you’re criticizing Georges, do what he did,” Zahabi said. “Do what he did first, then criticize him. It’s not easy to do what he did. He defended the title over and over again. Lots of guys had their chance. Lots of guys had their chance. Get in line, make their way the way he did it. And when he did it he never complained about nobody. He did it without complaining about anybody.

“Has he helped grow the sport or hurt it? He’s helped grow it. So a lot of guys making bigger paydays and bigger purses, bigger bonuses, why? Because of the company and the great fighters, not just Georges, all these great fighters and the company. It’s a relationship. We’ve got to respect the company, we’ve got to respect all the fighters, you’ve got to respect all these big names making the way. You’re gonna see, in the future, these guys are gonna sign rookie contracts, first year in the UFC, million-dollar contracts. But why? Because of all the greats that came before.”

The UFC star has had affiliations with Boxing trainer Freddie Roach in recent years and had worked hand in hand with GSP before and during his fight with Michael Bisping.
