The UFC  Pledges $1 Million To Victims Of The Las Vegas Shooting

It is reported the UFC has pledged $1 million to help families of victims affected by the Las Vegas mass shooting on Sunday which had 50 or more killed and over 500 people injured.

The Shooter identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock had opened fire into a country music concert from a hotel window then afterwards shot and killed himself, evidence confirmed by the Las Vegas Metro Police officers.

The UFC made known their intentions of the donation earlier on Monday, through the UFC president Dana White to Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review Journal and later the Mixed Martial Arts promotion confirmed their show UFC216 will continue as planned through a statement to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports.

The Statement Reads
“Our focus right now is on supporting the community and those affected by Sunday evening's events,” the statement read. "UFC 216 on Saturday, October 7 at T-Mobile Arena will proceed as scheduled until further notice.”
