Doctor Warns Zlatan Ibrahimovic On Quick Return

Zlatan Ibrahimovic injured

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's doctor, Dr Freddie Fu has sent warnings to the Manchester United striker as he plans to return to Football activities at the club.

The Doctor, who conducted the operation to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament which laid him off in the game against Anderlecht in April in the Europa League, wants the striker to recover fully before his return.

"He is very strong but soccer is still a combative sport," he said. "As a doctor, of course I want to see him return as slow as possible, only when he is fully fit for the game.

"There have been many cases of a player returning prematurely with bad consequences.

"I have no worry about his injury as it always takes time to fully recover."

"In fact, the EPL has just started and I am sure Manchester United would not need the player urgently for any crucial game either in the league or European competitions."

Ibrahimovic has been included in Manchester United's Champions League group stage squad but no date has been given for the Swede's comeback.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was Manchester United's top scorer last season and was one of the key men in Manchester United's successful 2016/17 season.
