Georges St-Pierre is coming off Retirement to face Micheal Bisping at the UFC 217 next month, going in for the middleweight title.

Conor McGregor has been making some waves in the UFC recently and has even made a temporal switch to Boxing to face Floyd Mayweather and if St-Pierre succeeds in the middleweight title from Bisping, a Conor McGregor Fight will be a very good match up for the UFC.

“We don’t compete in the same weight class,” St-Pierre told
ESPN.com prior to a recent UFC 217 news conference in Las Vegas. “Everything is possible. Everybody is targeting Conor McGregor because he’s the money fight. But I don’t challenge guys who compete in lower weight classes. For me, I don’t do that. I’m going up to fight Michael Bisping now.”

St-Pierre is set to face Bisping at the UFC 217, and will stand UFC middleweight champion, and will be facing contractually obligated to fight interim champ Robert Whittaker (19-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) next if he succeed and despite the changes experienced in the division he is not ready to drop weights to face Conor McGregor.

He said he doesn't have Conor McGregor on his list though acknowledging the Irish man is an amazing fighter and he will be privileged to face him.

“He’s an amazing fighter and it would be an amazing honor,” St-Pierre said. “I don’t know what to say. If the fans want it and he wants and whoever wants it, maybe it will happen. But right now, I’m focused on Bisping.
