Manchester United Withdrew Phil Jones Ban Appeal From UEFA

Manchester United's Center Back Phil Jones had been Banned for two games after the Europa League final after been found guilty of verbally abusing a doping control officer back in May.

Manchester United had appealed the Ban on the day of the  UEFA Super Cup clash with Real Madrid and UEFA was set to have a hearing on a later date before Manchester United reportedly Withdrew the appeal.
This means that Phil Jones will sit back on the opening UEFA Champions League game with Basel, after already serving one out of two at the UEFA Super Cup game with Real Madrid.

Eric Bailey is also Banned, while Marcus Rojo is still sidelined, which leaves Manchester United with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof for the Basel Champions League Visit come Tuesday.

Victor Lindelof has been on the bench throughout , Manchester United's first four competitive games and as the Boss Jose Mourinho told the media, hope he performs well, because any further errors will leave him further relegated to the bench.

Phil Jones will be available for the the second champions League game against CSKA Moscow on the 27th while Eric Bailey will have to sit on the bench for a game further before hopes if a champions league feature is considered.
