Most times, during fights, mostly in MMA and Wrestling, where fighters get to choke opponents it is expected that their opponents, it is expected that the referee would interfere when things get out of hand or the person choked taps out.

In this case, the referee stood by and watched the choker choke his opponent almost to death without intervention despite several checks for consciousness.

The fight between Silmar “Sombra” Nunes and Caio “Paturi” Robson Silva this past weekend which was fought under the Brazil’s Capanema Fight Combat banner was worst as compared to the first which happened earlier this year in a women’s MMA fight.

The fight started out as everyother fight in the MMA but almost ended in controversy as Robson Silva refused to tap out on Silmar “Sombra” Nunes guillotine choke which was made tighter due to his refusal to tap out, all this happening before the referee.

Things getting out of hand before the referee prompted the intervention of Robson cornermoan, who jumped into the cage, then attacked Nunes so as to have home release Robson from the deadly choke.
