Second Half Report

Manchester United run crazy again in the second half of this one, scoring three more goals to complement Eric Bailly's first half goal. Manchester United have now been able to score eight goals in two games.

The visitors are having by far the best start to the season, than their other title contenders, with a second four Nil win this season. Lukaku scored his third goal of the Season, while Anthony Martial and Pogba scored on each, making two goals each to their names. 

Anthony Martial came in to replace Marcus Rashford and Fellaini for Mata but the presence of the earlier was felt almost immediately, with his work in the build up to Lukaku's goal and even scoring one for himself. 

Manchester United had all three goals in the space of four minutes, canceling out their struggles in the first half  with a wonderful display in the second cementing Jose Mourinho's side on the to of the Premier League table 

First Half Report


Manchester United take the lead into the second 45, courtesy of Eric Bailly's 45th minute goal. A good reward for their dominance and good play on the defensive Swansea.

Swansea made a couple of changes to the starting line-up but Jose Mourinho opted for the same team that trashed the Hammers in the opening game.

The visitors controlled most of the possession but had only four shots by the end of 45 minutes, scoring one. Before the goal, Marcus Rashford had a couple of chances blown away into the keepers hands, while Juan Mata had his shot out of play.

Paul Pogba had his exceptional game on, controlling the balls behind Lukaku but his passes never got to the Belgian, while Shaw had a few mistimed crosses but did all good pushing forward with the ball.


Manchester United XI (4-3-3): De Gea; Valencia, Jones, Bailly, Blind; Mata, Matic, Pogba; Mkhitaryan, Lukaku, Rashford.

Manchester United substitutes: Romero, Lindelof, Smalling, Fellaini, Herrera, Lingard, Martial.

Swansea XI (5-3-2): Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Bartley, Mawson, Olsson; Fer, Mesa, Caroll; Ayew, Abraham.

Swansea substitutes: Nordfeldt, Van der Hoorn, Rangel, Fulton, Narsingh, Routledge, McBurnie.
